The Santorini Film Festival returns to the beautiful Cine Kamari for its 6th edition on July 13-14, 2022. The festival is organized by HFP and aims at screening the projects of indie filmmakers, regardless of budget, style, or genre, who are looking for a platform that will showcase their work to an audience eager to see something different.

This year’s edition included 35 feature and short films that competed in 11 categories. In the festival, the audience has the chance to watch 11 short films that are competing in different categories in the wonderful Cine Kamari and Tomato Industrial Museum.

The programme includes both local and international film productions, from reflective documentaries, funky animation, and dark comedies to aspiring student work and fascinating experimental shorts. Full of fresh artistic voices, the screening aims to showcase emerging filmmaking talent from around the world.

Elena started studying architecture and then she studied film directing. She gained her first work experience in 2014 at Thessaloniki International Film Festival. Her film studies combined with her daily activity at the PR & Events Management dept. broadened her horizons. As a result, she made the next step at the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports. She worked for the creation of audiovisual content and the promotion of the Social Media and internet platforms. Elena worked at the German Film Production Company -unafilm- as a Junior Producer. Since February 2022, she is working at the Greek Production Company -Blacktree Productions- as a producer. She is also working for Musou Music Group as a Pr & Communications Specialist.

 

With an academic background in architecture and film directing, Elena has been working in the film industry since 2014. Kicking off her professional career at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, she then joined the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports before the production gained her interest. She currently works at Blacktree Productions as a producer and Pr & Communications at the Musou Music Group.

With a background in marketing and film studies in the University of Kent, Eleni Oulani is a producer currently working for the Athens-based production company Argonauts. Among others, Eleni has developed the promotion stategy of internationally renowned films such as Radu Jude’s Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn, Omar El Zohairy’s Feathers and Greece's choice for the 2023 Oscar, Magnetic Fields.
